How This Site Works and Who Is Behind It
Most sourcing sites are vague about what they are and how they earn. This page is the opposite. Read it before you send anything.
What we are
An independent sourcing intermediary based in Ho Chi Minh City. One person, working by email, who reads incoming specifications and puts them in front of Vietnamese wood factories that already build that product.
That is the whole operation. There is no office network, no inspection division and no team page, because inventing one would be the first lie on a site that asks you to trust it with a drawing.
We do not own a factory, a kiln, a finishing line or a single machine. We do not hold FSC, BSCI, CARB or ISO certification. Those belong to the factories, and you should verify theirs rather than take ours.
How we are paid
Worth stating plainly, because it explains every incentive on this site.
- Buyers pay nothingNot for the RFQ, not for the match, not for the quotes. There is no success fee and no retainer.
- Factories pay for matched requestsA factory sees an anonymous preview of your request and pays only if it decides to take it. That is the entire revenue model.
- No commission on the orderYou contract with the factory directly. The money for the goods never passes through us, so we have no reason to push you toward a larger order than you need.
- What this incentive means for youWe are paid for a request a factory judges worth quoting. That rewards accurate, complete requests and punishes volume. It is why the form asks so many questions.
- Where the incentive could biteWe earn more when more factories take a request. That is why the cap is 3 and why we send fewer when only one or two genuinely fit. If that ever stops being true, this paragraph is the one to hold us to.
How a match actually happens
No algorithm and no marketplace. A person reads it.
Read the spec
Product, species, construction, finish, quantity, market and paperwork. Gaps get queried before anything moves.
Filter on fit
Category, capacity for your window, species experience and whether the factory can produce the documents your market requires.
Send an anonymous preview
No name, no brand, no files. A factory decides on the job, not on who you are.
Release and step back
The factories that take it get your contact and files, then deal with you directly. We do not sit in the middle of the negotiation.
If nothing fits, you get told that within 24 business hours. A plain no is more useful to you than three quotes from factories that will underperform, and it costs us the revenue on that request, which is the point.
How the guides are written
Twenty of them, and they follow rules we will not break for traffic.
- No invented numbersRanges are labelled typical and come from how mid size export factories actually quote. Where we do not know, the guide says so instead of guessing.
- No fake track recordNo client counts, no years in business, no testimonials, no logos. A new site has no history and pretending otherwise is the cheapest tell there is.
- No factory namesWe do not publish best factory lists. A matching service that ranks its own supply is selling placement, not judgement.
- Written against our own interest where neededSeveral guides tell you when not to source from Vietnam, when a trial order is a bad idea and how to check a factory without us.
- CorrectionsEmail if something here is wrong. We change it and note the change rather than quietly editing.
What we are not good for
Honest limits, so you do not waste a week finding them yourself.
One-off pieces
A single table or a handful of units. Export factories price setup once, so small runs come back expensive and slow.
Imported hardwood programmes
Oak, walnut and ash are imported into Vietnam. If the wood dominates your cost, source closer to the forest.
Non wood products
Metal, upholstery and stone get subcontracted here. If wood is a minor part of your product, this is the wrong country lead.
Same week delivery
Kiln drying and finish curing cannot be compressed. Anyone promising otherwise is planning to skip them.
Buying on our recommendation
We match, we do not endorse. Vet the factory yourself. The guides tell you how.
Acting as your agent
We do not inspect, hold funds, sign on your behalf or manage your order. Those are separate jobs and we do not do them.
Two ways in
Buyers send a specification. Factories register to receive requests. Both get a reply within 24 business hours, including when the answer is no.
